Some software (image viewer etc.) has a real "Full-screen-mode". The standard-taskbar "accepts" the fullscreen and is covered by it; ZBar stays on top and covers parts of the fullscreen-image (e.g. the navigation bar of Autodesk Screencast ..)

Could it be modified?

Yes, in fact I've already looked at this smiley

Try this build:

http://www.zhornsoftware.co.uk/zbar/zbarrdp.zip

It's less fussy about getting out of the way of full screen apps.

Thanks so much for posting that build. The problem also applies to Youtube Videos in Fullscreen. zBar would overlay upon the video covering the return from fullscreen icon.

zBar is such a nice little utility. I have a ancient license of UltraMon yet still switched to zBar because its just so small and has all i need.
