Ha! Well that's broken isn't it!

I'll take a look and post back here when I've fixed it smiley

Could you download this file:

http://www.zhornsoftware.co.uk/zbar/zbarlf.zip

That's been scaled better - does it look ok on your machine? It's the "large fonts" setting which has thrown the app!

Hi Tom

it's fine that you fix it so quickly smiley

a) Yes, the calendar looks fine now under 125% and under 150%

aa) I just realized that the calendar offers a scrolling function with the mouse-wheel. I always thought that the calendar is a fixed area.

b) But the start of zbar.exe invokes the calendar to be displayed immediately in the left upper corner of the left screen.

c) Under 150% the space for the clock is to small. Now (22:31) it displays only "22:..."

d) the height of the right taskbar (zbar) is not the same as the original Windows taskbar.

c) and d) are more cosmetic, you can see it here:

Ok, so I have good news, and I have bad...

The calendar popup at app start is removed - it was there for my testing and I forgot to take it out, sorry!

The second good news is that I've put something in which should address the two things you mentioned.

However the bad news is that it's been hacked in, rather than done properly. What I should do is to add in large fonts support for all the bar styles ... but, sigh, that's a lot of work and you're the only person who has ever asked for this.

So, if you re-download the link above, and also add this to your registry:

Path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Zhorn\Zbar
String name: largefontshack
Value: 1

and then ensure you have the "XP Classic" style set, you should be able to see the button and clock text better?

Hi Tom,

I see only good news cheesy

Thanks a lot, for me it is OK now - no need for more work.
I wish you the best!

Hi Tom

maybe it is a good idea to add this special release to the downloads and history of ZBar?

Yes, I will certainly do that, but as you've been the first person to report this problem in years, I know there's not much urgency! :)

Hi Tom
in this version the button "..." to select a file for wallpaper is broken - it does nothing. The official version works fine.
It is not important for me - just an information for you.

Thanks for pointing that out - I've fixed it for when I next put out the app built in the new version of the development environment I'm using.
