xx Save ZBar Layout
« Thread started on: Jan 9th, 2014, 12:56pm »

Using Win 7-64 Is it possible to save a ZBar layout (on the 2nd monitor) ? (1) many times I put my laptop into standby mode (e.g., close my laptop lid). When I get back, ZBar has lost my layout (open folders, running programs, etc). (2) Also, would be great to boot my computer and have the exact same layout I had when I shut down. Maybe #2 would interfere with Windows startup --- I have programs (including ZBar) and Document folders in my Win startup so that they open when I boot.

Which sort of layout do you mean? Do you mean where the bar is located on the screen, the order of buttons on it, or the position of windows on the monitor?

I mean the order of buttons on my 2nd monitor. I have a number of folders open on my 2nd monitor so I have easy access to frequently used folders. I save those folders in my Windows Startup folder --- which, of course, includes zbar. I would love to be able to boot my computer and/or wake it up from sleep mode and have my folders in the same order that I positioned them. When I boot / wake my laptop, zbar & the folders are open, but the folder positions are scrambled & I have to rearrange them.
Screenshot of some of the folders I have open: http://screencast.com/t/noAthikCgYR.
Would be super if the folders were always in this order when I boot / wake my laptop. Or maybe a saved zbar configuration file that I could run when I start / wake.

Right, so that the buttons are always in the same place. Got you.

I'll bear it in mind, thanks smiley
