Hi all, does anyone know how to change the default colors?

https://ibb.co/gqwmLm

Any other tips how to change colors of text fast? Would be great with a color popup window when text is selecting in a sticky.

Thank you.

Also if possible "Format Painter" would be a great to have in Stickies.

Sorry, but I don't know of a way to change the default font colors you're referencing in the picture you linked to. Perhaps this flexibility might show up in a future release of Stickies.

The quickest way I can think of to change the format of a sticky, including the font color, is to use styles. Ten styles can be established in the Appearance tab of Options. You could, for example, set up ten styles which differ only in font color; the number of possibilities are finite but numerous.

You may also lift and apply formatting using the 'lift format' and 'apply format' tools, which have the shortcuts -
*Alt-f copies the selected text formatting
*Alt-v applies the saved text formatting to the currently selected text
These two tools also transfer color. Some skins also have lift and apply formatting tools included.

The Stickies help file discusses styles in detail. Some skins have buttons to help facilitate a change in style, and there are shortcut keys for each style as well.

Default Font Colors: Options/Appearance/Font colour...

"Format Painter": Skin --> FF&F ... 2 (MENUS/LIFT FOR & APPLY FOR)

Thanks Cynthia, those shortcuts are great and work much like "Format Painter" in Windows Office. Exactly what I was looking for.

Spook, I could not quite understand your answer.

You gotta be able to find 'Options'. (Right-Click Task-Bar-Stickie-Icon)

And you gotta be able to find and Download a 'Skin'. (See 'List') http://www.zhornsoftware.co.uk/stickies/skins/search.pl?sort=4
