Hi. Stickies is a great, awesome piece of software, that does very well what it aims. My issue is that alt+tab wasn't available because there wasn't a taskbar entry (http://tomrevell.conforums.com/index.cgi?board=gensupport&action=display&num=1156362562) and now there is one but it's still not possible to alternate to Stickies using alt+tab. Is it easy to implement now? grin

Actually, that does already work under W10. Why does it not work under W7? I have no idea.

Now doesn't that give you a lot of confidence in my coding abilities!

Do you have any plans to upgrade?

Hi! Actually I'm on Windows 8.1 and, for now, no plans to upgrade (W10 doesn't provide as much control previous versions, and I like to control my system, not the other way around...).

So alt+tab is not working in W8.1 either, is there any chance of a fix on this?

Edit: BTW, if it helps, when I hover Stickies' taskbar icon, the preview shown is not the actual snapshot of my Stickies' "layer". Is doesn't show details such as text, title bars, etc., only a general picture featuring rectangles and their background colors. Is this information useful anyhow for figuring out why Windows doesn't see Stickies' layer as a window?

Sadly, I don't understand Windows windowing well enough to know what it works in one way on one OS, and another way on another OS, sorry.

Sure, you are in no way obligated to.

But here's a different question that, if you can already answer or is willing to dig deeper into, could point us somewhere: why doesn't Stickies taskbar "minimize" Stickies the second time it is clicked in a row?

huh
