Is it possible to add feature for reading mails coming to own mailbox and stick them on the screen ? That option needs just few parameters: POP server, mail address, password, and maybe some subject filter (to avoid spam reading). You can ask: what for ? Having this, I could make special mail account for todo_tasks@somemail.org or just stick word-of-the-day from dictionary site. Hmm what about reading few mailboxes...

I think that's actually quite an interesting idea. It would never make it into the main program as it's far too specialised, but it could be done with the API.
I've added it to the API code ideas page for someone who might be interested to pick up. Perhaps I'll look at doing it myself one day even
