Have you specified the -logexclusions command line parameter?

Sorry, did not do that. But now I did and I noticed something else. I'm using TrueCrypt and I have a file called "safe" (name without extension, this is my TrueCrypt volume).
I did put this file under exclusions, but then this is not seen as a file but as a dir.
So I thought the file "safe" is not copied, but Bart still tries while it is in use and that gave the skipped message.

But why does Bart not log everything except same by default? Maybe the first time you get a large log, but later with just updating/adding/deleting/skipping a few files are shown.

Something else: is there a complete overview of command line options? I can't find the option -letter:. which I got from you by email.

Now I use in a bat file:
start bart -runall -show -stay -letter:. -logexclusions

Thx for your time!

I have exactly the same thing here - a truecrypt volume which is a single word. In my case, it's named "volume" rather than "safe".

So, I set up a task to copy that folder, and I added an exclusion for that one file. It worked as I would expect. The log from the first run looks like this:

Job started (using default.job) at 07/09/12 20:40
Starting task "safe"

Created directory d:\22safe
Adding file d:\toburn\private\Configuration.xml
Adding file d:\toburn\private\TrueCrypt Format.exe
Adding file d:\toburn\private\truecrypt-x64.sys
Adding file d:\toburn\private\TrueCrypt.exe
Adding file d:\toburn\private\truecrypt.sys

Done at 07/09/12 20:40
Changed: 0, Same: 0, Deleted: 0, Skipped: 1, New: 5, Saved: 0, Errors: 0, Bytes (new): 2132107
Bytes (change): 0, Time: 0s, Source count: 6, Source size: 136349835

Then I ran Bart again with the -logexclusions parameter, and the log file looks like this:

Job started (using default.job) at 07/09/12 20:42
Starting task "safe"
Excluded: d:\toburn\private\volume
Done at 07/09/12 20:42
Changed: 0, Same: 5, Deleted: 0, Skipped: 1, New: 0, Saved: 0, Errors: 0, Bytes (new): 0
Bytes (change): 0, Time: 0s, Source count: 6, Source size: 136349835

Is this not what you see? The exclusion is just:

d:\toburn\private\volume

I chose not to log every skipped file because there may be a good number of skipped files, and because they will not change from job to job. My guess is that most people will not care about seeing what's been excluded, but there's always the command line option for if you do want to see it.

There's no documentation for the beta at all - I've not yet written it, which is why there's no list of command line options. I really should get around to writing that, and releasing the app...

Yes, that is exactly what happens.

Thx!
